TIGI Inspirational Youth

TIGI Inspirational Youth is recognised as one of the most exciting training programmes for young hairdressers. Each year, Nick Irwin, TIGI’s European Creative Director, selects the TIGI Inspirational Youth Team from salons across the UK – and for 2010 – also Germany. With its international expansion, the team has grown to 20, so this year’s Salon Live audience can expect some strong competition and artistic excitement.
Over a 6 month training period the TIGI Inspirational Youth Team members receive a broad training that encompasses not only cutting, styling and colouring skills, but also photographic work, presentational skills, trend spotting and of course, team building. Almost every young stylist that has gone through the training scheme describes it as ‘life-changing’. It’s an amazing, emotional roller-coaster of creativity, hard work and an expansion of ideas and experience.
