Private Coaches

We are pleased to be able to confirm a specific plan of operation for the arrivals and departures of private coaches to and from ExCeL London, on Monday 15th October 2012. These instructions must be strictly observed by all party organisers and coach company drivers attending the Salon International event.

You should decide in conjunction with your chosen coach company on only one of the options detailed below;

Option 1
Coaches arriving to ExCeL and staying on site for the duration of the show until the nominated collection/departure time. (Please refer to Map A) Please note there is a £30.00 cost per coach to park on site, this is payable to the ExCeL traffic team on arrival.

At the intersection of Seagull Lane/Sandstone Lane, coaches should follow signs for the North Lorry Way.

Continue along the North Lorry Way until instructed to enter the nominated indoor event hall to park. Passengers will then alight into the main boulevard and coaches will remain in the same parking position all day.

At the end of your visit, your party should follow all directions and signage for the Red Indoor Pick Up Area along the main boulevard where your coach will be waiting to collect you.

Option 2
Coaches arriving to ExCeL, dropping off passengers and then leaving the ExCeL site until the nominated collection/departure time. (Please refer to Map B)

Coaches should follow signs for ExCeL East and then the venue traffic marshals will direct into the East Car Park. (Please refer to Map B).  Coaches approaching from Seagull Lane, should follow signage marked ExCeL East drop-off.

Once all passengers have disembarked, all coaches must leave this area promptly. At your nominated pick up time later in the day, coaches should be instructed to return to this same area.

At the end of your visit, your party should follow all directions and signage towards the East Entrance to the Orange Outdoor Pick Up Area where your coach will be waiting to collect you.

We are confident this process gives clear guidance for all party organisers and your coach company drivers. We would kindly reiterate the need for you to have decided on one of the options above prior to arrival to ExCeL to ensure the system runs smoothly and efficiently.
